SOURDOUGH BREAD

Artisanal sourdough bread with a perfect crust and tangy flavor. Made with natural fermentation for the best taste.


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup active sourdough starter
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. 1.Mix sourdough starter with warm water in a large bowl.
  2. 2.Add flour and salt, mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. 3.Knead dough for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4.Place in oiled bowl, cover, let rise for 4-6 hours.
  5. 5.Shape into a loaf and place in a banneton or bowl lined with cloth.
  6. 6.Let rise for 2-3 hours or overnight in refrigerator.
  7. 7.Preheat Dutch oven to 450°F. Score bread and bake covered for 30 minutes.
  8. 8.Remove lid, bake 15-20 minutes more until golden brown.
