INGREDIENTS
- •1 cup active sourdough starter
- •1 1/4 cups warm water
- •3 cups bread flour
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •2 tablespoons olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1.Mix sourdough starter with warm water in a large bowl.
- 2.Add flour and salt, mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- 3.Knead dough for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 4.Place in oiled bowl, cover, let rise for 4-6 hours.
- 5.Shape into a loaf and place in a banneton or bowl lined with cloth.
- 6.Let rise for 2-3 hours or overnight in refrigerator.
- 7.Preheat Dutch oven to 450°F. Score bread and bake covered for 30 minutes.
- 8.Remove lid, bake 15-20 minutes more until golden brown.
